Commute to Gold Coast airport.
Russell Island, QLD 4184 is located within the Redland local government area, part of the Brisbane Region in Queensland.
Hi RI residents. I am considering moving to the island in a few months but I am a full-time student at Southern Cross University (next to the airport) I am wondering if anyone could give me an accurate idea of how long the commute would be from door to door (say from the middle of the island cycling to the ferry port) I have of course tried google maps for this answer but just wondered if anyone has done that specific journey & how long to allow. I have done the trip to Kirra (Pretty close by) a few times, so, not including your cycling time, you have say 30 minutes max in the ferry, and it should take you about an hour to get to SCU from Redland Bay in normal traffic. FD
