"Great location, great suburb, can't go wrong."
Stokes street in Port Melbourne is a real up and coming street in Port Melbourne. It is divided into two sections by Graham Street, and the side closest to the beach has the most potential.
Most of the houses are brick and weatherboard terrace style homes, and a lot have gone through some major renovations in the past couple of years making it quite a visually appealing street. It's is a wide street with plenty of on street parking with a church as well on the corner of Rouse Street.
On of the reasons I say this is going to be one of the best streets in Port Melbourne in a few years is because of the developments that are going on here, such as the Stokes Terraces apartment complex. This coupled with the fantastic location (so close to Bay street and walking distance to the beach) makes it one to watch out for.
