"Not cheap, not much happening except the market"

Expensive to live here but the main thing going for it is the markets and not much else happening. Lots of friends we know have been looking to get out for a while.

Looking for a home in Eumundi?

"Eumundi- the charming historic market town"

I love Eumundi and I think the weekend market has to be the best I've seen. The town has a very relaxed friendly feel and a host of good cafes and restaurants. The 2 hotels also serve good food and the entertainment is excellent. Many of the homes have excellent views of Mt Cooroy and the Hinterland. There is a selection of houses in town on smaller lots and also acreage properties nearby.

Great for

  • Market day with 500 stalls
  • Swimming pool, train to Brisbane
  • The atmosphere and charming old buildings

Not great for

  • Busy on market days Saturday and Wednesday
  • No supermarket in town

"Mad On The Market"

Eumundi and it's market, don't be late or you'll never get a park, when the market is on in this place you'd better be on your toes, because the place is a mad house, plenty to see and do but trying to move anywhere can be difficult.

Arrived here one morning several years ago and left just as quick, drove around for a time looking for a spot to park but gave up in disgust it was mayhem, so as I said don't be late but then some people don't mind all the madness that surrounds the market in Eumundi.

Market day is very busy and you cannot park in the street very easily unless you know where to go. However there are ample car parks around and it is well worth it to experience on of the best markets around. Don't miss it next time in town, you can also get a drop off from the Tour companies in Noosa,

"Eumundi -Country atmosphere close to major town."

Eumundi is located just north of Nambour in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and offers a village like atmosphere. Famous for its markets which are held each Wednesday and Saturday, Eumundi is flooded with many people from surrounding districts as well as visitors all eager for a bargain. There are many other things to see and do around Eumundi including a visit to the art galleries, heritage listed buildings, wineries and the Eumundi museum. Stay at one of the B & B's or guest houses which offer country style accommodation. Being close to the larger shopping centers at Nambour, Eumundi is a great place to live and is within easy reach of the pristine Sunshine Coast beaches.

Find real estate agents in Eumundi

"An area where the arty like to hang out."

Eumundi is the home of the famous Eumundi Markets. These markets bring in thousands of visitors to Eumundi every week. It is a great way for visitors to spend half a day. A really casual atmosphere and lots of eateries of all descriptions.

With this sort of action in town Eumundi tends to attract people people who wish to hang out but be near the action. It is only a 20 min drive into the action at Noosa, so in some ways you get the best of both worlds.

The area does tend to lack in some of the other services that people may like so if you were considering living there you would need to weigh up exactly you are wanting from your local area.

Most residents in the area tend to live on acreage as there is not a lot of small blocks on offer.
