Reviews of Fitzgibbon, QLD
"Fitzgibbon Chase you're the best ! A little green suburb that close to city.."
I have already seen houses around Chermside, Geebung, Taigum, Aspley and Carseldine. I couldn't afford few and most of them were pretty outdated still pricey. I know Fitzgibbon isn't for everyone but if you like small, low maintenance houses with little green on your backyard then this is your suburb. It has many parks with BBQ option for family and lots of play areas for kids. Due to small size of housing, it attracts migrants which is good. Some people might not like it but I don't have issues personally. Fitzgibbon Chase has few newly opened Cafe, Barber shop, Indian restaurant, Night Owl etc opposite to Fitzgibbon Community Centre. It is getting better day by day. I am recommending Fitzgibbon Chase 100% if you want to live close to city, like seeing multicultural crowd around suburb and don't want a massive outdated house and land with a big price tag on it.

"Nice area - close to the city, buses, trains and shops with fast internet (Fitzgibbon Chase)"
If you are looking for an ideal suburb that is not too far from the city with easy access to public transportation - bus and train, shops (5 mins drive to Coles or Woolworth, 12 mins drive to Chermside Westfield), community centre (regular playgroup, ballet classes for kids, etc...) recreational parks (e.g. Hidden World Playground), close to schools, coffee shops, gyms... this would be the place for you and your family.

"Packed to the rafters..."
If you enjoy living hard up against your neighbours, sharing noise, car parking, then Fitzgibbon Chase is for you. As long as you're not bothered by these or the fact that a large proportion of dwellings here are occupied by tenants in the NRAS program, which brings various problems to the suburb, then you can find affordable living relatively close to Brisbane CBD.

"Suburban Bliss"
Loved living here for a few years, great neighbours, quiet streets. You felt safe at home and going for a late night walk. It was great being on the bus route and being able to walk to the train station for work. I enjoyed having all the greenspace as my yard wasn't all that big. I miss living there and would move back in a heartbeat.

"So close to the city, yet so affordable"
A great up and coming suburb with plenty of green space. Lots of plans for future development along Beams Rd. Plenty of bike tracks, play equipment.
Good access to highway to drive to Sunshine or Gold Coasts- can get to airport in 20mins, quick commute to Redcliffe. Close to Prince Charles Hospital, major shopping centre- Westfield Chermside. Train station within walking distance, plus buses. Local childcare options.
Limited quality restaurants and nightlife. High proportion of rental properties due to great location.
