Reviews of Kardinya, WA
"So much Crime"
I've lived in Kardy a little while now . There seems to be two parts to kardinya..the good and the bad .. and unfortunately I live in the bad.
Best to rent before buying as it has a more expensive median than other CoM suburbs but it's crime riddled and the theft and Kardinya Park is rampant.
It's one of highest theft stores for Coles I am told.
"City of Melville value king"
Compared to nearby Winthrop which is 1.5mil+ or trendy Willagee, Kardinya offers all the benefits without the hefty price tag.
Melville SHS is up there with Willeton and Rossmoyne as one of the top performers SOR.
Good way to get access to an excellent high school.
This suburb is has superb connections to Fremantle and has some very green pockets.
"Peaceful place"
I have been living in Australia for many years, I spend my time as a student in different suburbs, but I fall in love with this suburb.
Kardinya is a very peaceful suburb, well maintained by Melville council, a lot of greenery and nice parks for kids.
10/10 for students to live in.

"A Fabulous, Central Location!"
Having grown up in Kardinya, and working here selling and leasing homes for the almost 17yrs, I can certainly vouch for Kardinya being a wonderfully central location.
Everything is at your fingertips:
* Kardinya Primary School
* Private and secondary schools close by
* Murdoch University a couple of minutes up South St.
* Numerous bus routes, and easy access to to the Perth-to-Mandurah train line.
* The Kardinya Park Shopping Centre redevelopment will provide an abundance of retail shopping, eateries and entertainment for residents in Kardinya and surrounding suburbs.
* Sports - Morris Buzzacot Reserve (amateur football in winter, t-ball in summer) surrounded by Kardinya Bowling Club, the hockey stadium, courts for netball and tennis, and cricket field. Alan Edwards Reserve offers grounds for junior football in winter, and cricket in summer.
* Fiona Stanley Hospital, St. John of God Hospital, and an abundance of other medical facilities.
* Bibra Lake and Adventure World are just a few minutes away.
Kardinya offers something for families, singles, couples, retirees, investors, developers and renters alike.

"Hot Demand for Good Reason..."
I can see why we got 8 offers in 4 days on a 1970's built 4 x1. The suburb is filled with parks, has public transport on your doorstep and conveniently located with all amenities close bye. Kardinya Park Shopping Centre is going to add so much value to lifestyle once completed on the corner of South St and North Lake Road. Who wouldn't want to raise a family in this beautiful suburb

Thanks Ameli, yes we are just on the boarder of coobellup. We have decided to sell now. I don't think that Kardinya is the area for us. Such a shame we thought it would be more family friendly. I am also having problems with transport. And there are no local restuarants or shops that are very good. I have heard Melville is great for all of that we will be looking there. If we can afford it. Thanks Bron
"Lived in 3 different houses all in Kardinya"
