Reviews of Karrinyup, WA
"‘Krazy’ Karrinyup"
Was once a very tranquil suburb. Sadly due to the shopping centre redevelopment it has drastically changed; becoming increasingly noisy and busy with increased traffic and hooning, internally and from major surrounding roads.
Certain streets have become rat runs, the effects equally felt on the adjoining streets/cul de sacs.
The apartment towers have not even been built yet!
"Perfect Family Suburb"
It is very family-friendly and close to everything you need such as the shops, beach and schools. It is a great place to start a family or retire!

"I Have Always Liked the "feel" of Karrinyup"
I have always admired the way the residents of Karrinyup take pride in their properties.
It gives the suburb that "cared for" feel. So much so I moved my family into the area.
Benefits are that you can be at the beach in less than 10 minutes,
alternatively for me Karrinyup is only 10 minutes drive from a golf course too !
Quality Shopping at Karrinyup Shopping Centre a bonus !
An well established suburb with LOTS of renovated or new builds happening.
It would seem a lot of people agree - there is a lot to like about Karrinyup
Cheers

"On my wish list!"
Love everything about Karrinyup except... dealing with the city of Stirling.
Have been trying to build our family home for almost 18months and the local shire is difficult to say the least.
Hopefully one day soon we can call Karinyup home and forget the difficulties.

"Close to everything yet still peaceful and quiet"
Karrinyup is a beautiful and quiet suburb 15 minutes north of the CBD and 3 minutes from arguably one of Perth's best beaches, Trigg beach. Areas north of Karrinyup road are safe and quiet, with most residents being owners, unlike surrounding suburbs to the south. It is a great place for professionals to raise a young family, with St Mary's and Hale School close by, parklands, Lake Gwelup, Karrinyup shopping centre and 2 golf courses. Stirling train station in 5 minutes drive and is one stop on the express trains from the CBD. If you want to be able to sit back and relax after a long day at the office, or enjoy a bit of peace and quiet with the kids, Karrinyup is for you.

"Nice neighbours.."
Nice suburb for neighbourly spirit, tidy homes, 15 mins drive to CBD, close to beach, close to shopping centre, close to Scarborough for eating out, fairly cheap housing prices comparitively to rest of Perth although small blocks. There is no nightlife or pubs in Karrinyup and the nearest anything is 5km away. We rented in Karrinyup for a year and in that time my car got broken into once and we had to call the ranger around 10 times to encourage people to keep their dogs on a leash to prevent them running into peoples yards.

"Karrinyup Rd, between the shopping centre and Marmion Ave"
Not too noisy, only frontyard. Excellent access to beach, freeway and arguably the best shopping centre in Perth. Beautiful bush land over the road. Karrinyup and surrounding region has some of the largest nature reserves in Perth. Friendly area, feel safe and happy to walk and exercise around the streets and parkland areas. Very happy with neighbours couldn't ask for a better location.
