Liverpool, NSW 2170

Liverpool is one of the major suburban CBD in South‑West Sydney with strong transport links, popular bus routes, train services to the city, and close proximity to the M5 & M7.
The suburb is undergoing significant transformation, with the Liverpool Health & Academic Precinct expanding hospital and research facilities, as well as streetscape upgrades around the CBD improving amenity and the NSW and Federal governments have committed $1 billion to the Liverpool‑to‑Airport transit corridor, linking the city to Western Sydney International Airport, allowing for future jobs and population growth by 2027 which will support steady rental demand and long‑term growth prospects for the area.

Lived here for almost a couple of years. The experience have been mixed but certainly not worth recommending to anyone unless its the only option.

Pros -
1. Green parks, Liverpool hospital, Westfield mall
2. Nearby markets and restaurants
3. Public transport connectivity
4. Cheap rents

Cons -
1. Unsafe streets especially after dark (special mention to junkies and street thugs who want to pick a fight with anyone they make eye contact with)
2. Unsafe public places after dark (even Westfield is filled with dodgy youngsters who enjoy harassing people)
3. Some of the streets are filthy while some of them are broken
4. Cars jumping red lights and too much unnecessary honking throughout the day
5. Missionaries near railway station and sometimes in and around Westfield hooting at passer bys

Affordability is going to be out of reach soon. Most free standing houses are over $1m. Living in Orange Grove is the best choice. Close to everything such as Westfield, schools, universities, hospitals, public transportations and Hume Highways. I can either catch trains at Warwick Farm Station or at Liverpool station. It had many cafes and restaurants. Also 5 minutes drive to Cabramatta for Asian food. Not to mention a DFO at Mega Centre

Can’t complain as I live in the Orange Grove estate only short walk to Mega centre that has McDonald, RTA and Domain and Harvey Norman. 15 minutes walk to Westfield with variety of stores and 4 minutes drive to Cabramatta. Excellent neighbours and safe. Liverpool had 2 Universities (Wollongong and UWS). Catholic primary and high schools as well as boys and girls government high schools.

This little city has everything to offer, location is prime, new university, great shopping, cheaper groceries!

Very much dull in every aspect, i don't recommend liverpool.

Even though there's a river beside the station is still doesn't add much to the area. The suburb looks and feels very gray. There's not enough trees, too many high rise out of place, dodgy characters with monitoring bracelets on their ankle hanging near the station, drivers going through red lights. These all add up to a place that's not very attractive.

Nothing to like

Liverpool is becoming another CBD with beautiful brand new apartments building up. Liverpool has a Westfields shopping centre and plenty of public transport.
