Reviews of Nedlands, WA
"Best Suburb in Perth"
Nedlands is the best suburb in Perth. It is in the expensive end of Perth within the golden triangle but once you are here, you wouldn't want to leave.
Nedlands is conveniently situated ~7km from the Perth CBD. It has easy access to the city for those who work or shop in the city and is within the catchment for the state's top public primary and high schools (within state top 10 ranking) as well as plenty of prestigious private schools. It is also walking distance to the University of Western Australia which ranks #77 on the QS world university rankings.
The suburb is situated within walking distance to the Swan River, Kings Park, cafes, bars, the Perth Children Hospital and Sir Charles Gardner Hospital. The suburb has easy access to cycling paths and weekends are enjoyable with strolls to the river, Perth Upmarket at UWA, car show and outdoor cinema. There is always some event to keep you busy on the weekend.
The suburb is made of up professionals working in hospital, engineer, law and mining industries.
Nedlands is a family oriented suburb and the only suburb I can find in Perth which offers the state's top primary/high schools and university, is a short walk/drive to the hospital, close to the river, city and Kings Park.
Nedlands offers the best of everything your family needs for all stages of children's education, proximity to the city for work and health needs as you get older.

"Its No. 7 ranking in the "best suburbs to live in Australia" is justified"
Walk to Kings Park, walk to the river, 5 minutes to Cottesloe, 5 minutes to the City, 5 minutes to Subiaco...loads of restaurants, leafy streets, lots of trees and birds, safe, low crime rate, quality schools on your doorstep, beautiful homes with proud owners. Buy here if you can cos once you do, you won't leave.
