"A family community close to everything you need"

Having lived here for several years, in a lovely, fully-owner-occupied cul-de-sac, I can vouch for the family friendly nature of our suburb. Stockland are spot-on when creating suburbs that meet the needs of the community. The streets here are lined with masses of trees (I live in the established part), and most of the houses in the surrounding streets are house and garden proud which makes for a scenic setting. There are 3 schools and several child care centres here in Pac Pines, and the shops cater to most day-to-day needs, with Helensvale Westfield 3 minutes drive from my house if I need more. The train is at Helesnvale Westfield to, and my commute to work is helped by being 2 minutes from 2 different M1 entries.
My teenaged daughter loves it here, and she is hoping to attend Griffith University next year which is 10 minutes away. She also loves going to the beach (Main is 15 minutes). To top it off for her, Dreamworld, Movie World and Wet n Wild are on our doorstep, 2 minutes in the car to WnW.
We love it and our neighbours who have been here since they built their houses new in 1995 love it too.

Great for

  • Pretty and affordable.
  • Easy access to everything
  • Ultra clean environment
  • Good housing

Looking for a home in Pacific Pines?

"Best Suburb On The Gold Coast. Safe, Clean, Trendy"

Pacific Pines has emerged as one of the Gold Coast’s most desirable family-friendly lifestyle suburbs, prized for its combination of safety, convenience, and long-term growth appeal.

Set on elevated terrain, many homes enjoy beautiful hinterland or city views along with natural protection from coastal weather, creating a calm, comfortable living environment year-round.

Wide streets, modern master-planned estates, and predominantly newer homes give the suburb a clean, well-kept feel, reinforced by strong community pride and an absence of graffiti or hooning culture seen in some other areas.

The lifestyle proposition is a major driver of demand.

Pacific Pines offers easy access to Gold Coast beaches, major shopping and employment hubs, theme parks, and direct routes to both Brisbane and the wider Gold Coast, making it highly practical for families and professionals alike. Streets are generally quiet and regarded as among the safer pockets on the Gold Coast, contributing to a strong sense of community and neighbourliness.

With limited new land supply, ongoing infrastructure maturity, and sustained buyer demand, house prices have been rising rapidly…positioning Pacific Pines as a suburb not only for quality family living, but also for solid, long-term capital growth. One word: gentrification.

"Beautiful, Green, Quiet Leafy Suburb - Suburban Living On The Gold Coast."

As a proud local, Pacific Pines is hands-down my favourite suburban gem on the Gold Coast, striking a perfect balance between convenience and peaceful, leafy 'family friendly' living. Ask most Pacific Pine locals about the area and they will tell you it's all about 'The Community'!

This suburb has everything you need right at your fingertips: the Pacific Pines Tavern, a local fave for a cold drink or hearty meal - plus a handful of cozy cafes, bakeries whipping up fresh pastries, and major supermarkets like Coles and Woolworths for your daily shop. You’ve got doctors, dentists, and a range of takeaway joints (think fish and chips, pizza, Chinese, Sushi, Mexican, Thai and the usual Mcdonalds, Zaraffas, Etc) all within reach, so you rarely need to venture out for essentials.

Close proximity to 'sister suburbs' Oxenford & Helensvale means Bunnings, Westfield, plenty of public transport and all the ammenities you need are extremely close by - including being only a short drive to Costco, Top Golf, Movie World, Wet N Wild, DreamWorld, White Water World, Water Skii, Golf, Go Carting and a 'easy' commute into Surfers Paradise, Southport, Burleigh, and the rest of the GC.

Families love it here too, thanks to top-notch schools like Pacific Pines State School and Helensvale State High School, both known for solid academics and community vibes. The best part? You’re surrounded by green spaces..parks, walking tracks, and tree-lined streets that make it feel like a quiet retreat, yet you’re still just minutes from the M1, keeping the Gold Coast’s beaches, shopping, and buzz within easy reach (about 15–20 minutes to Surfers Paradise).

That said, if you’re chasing nightlife, thumping parties, or the thrill of circling for a parking spot, Pacific Pines…and the northern Gold Coast in general might not be your scene. Head south to Surfers or Broadbeach for that chaos..up here, it’s more about laid-back suburban life. The community skews friendly and low-key, with a mix of young families, retirees, and professionals who value space and serenity over the tourist hustle.

Plus, you’ve got Central Park, a massive sports precinct with ovals, courts, and playgrounds - perfect for weekend picnics or kicking a ball around.
For anyone considering a move or visit, Pacific Pines delivers a self-contained, green escape with all the practicalities sorted, minus the overcrowding.

"Best Suburb In The Gold Coast For Families"

"Good Times, Great Vibes - Life Shines At Pacific Pines!"

Driving through Pacific Pines is like driving through a Hollywood set - it almost doesn't seem real it's so picturesque..

Think beautifully maintained tree lined streets, people walking their dogs and drinking coffee, families and kids playing sport in the many local parks are taking their jetskiis and water toys out to the water.

Pacific Pines is not for party animals, but if you love nature, family, community and quiet peaceful living then you will love Pacific Pines.

You can drive to Burleigh from Pacific Pines on a weekend morning in 20 minutes or enjoy the many facilities of the Gold Coast like The Star Casino, Pacific Fair & Harboutown Iconic shopping destinations & all of the beautiful beaches and water ways of the Gold Coast at your door step, as well as easy access to the stunning green Gold Coast Hinterland.

Pacific Pines is known for its "Community Feel". The neighbours are friendly and look out for each other, you have gyms, bakeries, doctors, dentists, barbers, pharmacies, Coles, Woolworths, everything you could possibly need.

It's a stone's throw from the iconic Top Golf golfing destination as well as many golf clubs and prestigious areas like Hope Island, Helensvale, Runaway Bay and Sanctuary Cove.

Australia's best theme parks of Movie World and Wet and Wild are in the suburb just next door, with even more theme park action less than 10 minutes away at Dreamworld and White Waterworld as well as new hospitals and other developments.

It's a bit of a hidden gem in the Gold Coast and is completely different to the "busy" areas like Surfers Paradise, Robina, Southport etc.. although you can easily drive to these places in minutes, Pacific Pines is the blissful "quiet life" in the Gold Coast while still being close enough to enjoy all the social aspects.

A modern "suburbia" giving you the benefits of quiet roads, parks and amazing schools "country living" without giving up any of the city life or glitz and glamour that the Gold Coast has to offer.

My kids love Pacific Pines and play with their friends in the street and my husband is a tradie who loves meeting mates at Pacific Pines pub after work and knowing he can always get a park and a pint in peace.

"Not what it used to be"

We have lived in Pacific Pines for 12 years now and over the last two years especially the suburb has gone down hill. There are hoons everywhere, arrogant and abusive people and crime is high. If you are like us and have a family I strongly recommend you look South. Can't wait to be out of here!

"Real Community Feel"

I have lived in Pacific Pines for the last 18 years. I raised both my Kids here and have owned 3 houses in the suburb and rented 2. Every street I moved into made me and my family feel welcome and I count my current neighbours and past neighbours as good friends.
I have worked in Pacific Pines for the past 6 years and I cant rate the community High enough. We have an awesome community facebook page. Locals support local businesses. The Movies in the park and Winterfest were hugely supported by the locals and I look forward to a time when they can be organised again.
Can I just say I am proud to call Pac Pines Home.

"Unbiased review"

I have lived in Pacific Pines many years ago. I still have family and friends who say it has changed for the worse mainly because of the increasing crime in the area and development. On the other hand it is still known for the stunning green environment, family friendly community and small town charm.
