Reviews of Palm Cove, QLD
"Paradise I get to call home"
Every weekend is like you're on holidays. Work in Cairns, come home to Palm Cove. Morning walks along the esplanade, weekends having breakfast at one of the amazing restaurants, Sunday markets, friendly neighbourhood where everyone says hello to one another. Would never consider living anywhere else in Australia. We have the best of both worlds being residents of beautiful Palm Cove.

"Fall in Love with Palm Cove"
Palm Cove, is a unique and relaxing village by the Coral Sea where centuries old “paperbark” Melaleuca trees line the casual esplanade. Its relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere makes Palm Cove the perfect beach side holiday or destination wedding location. You will fall in love with this tropical paradise and never want to leave.
Palm Cove is spoiled for choice. Numerous world class and award winning resorts, restaurants and spas span the length of our gorgeous esplanade. Palm Cove is the ideal holiday hub when planning your Great Barrier Reef trip, Rainforest excursion or a simply day on the beach. Enjoy a week relaxing on our palm lined beach or thrill to kayaking around nearby islands or getting wild with our water sports.
Palm Cove is the perfect romantic paradise and destination wedding location for a relaxed and fun wedding or romantic getaway.

"Beautiful and relaxing"
We have been coming to Palm Cove for the last 20 years. It is paradise. No where else compares (we've looked).
"The Stunning Palm Fringed Beach - Is Just The Beginning!"
When I moved to 'Cairns' in 2010 I bought an apartment in Trinity Beach to live in.
I'd drained local agents of their knowledge about the 'Northern Beaches' and decided that T.Beach was the place for me.
The reality is, Trinity Beach is nice, but Palm Cove is Fantastic!
You've got everything at your fingertips, beach, public transport, services, shopping, cafe's, the jetty (fishing:) and a vibe that you don't get elsewhere.
It's hard to beat, and certainly the most beautiful beach in the Cairns Beaches Area.

"Living in palmcove is amazing!"
People often remark that Palmcove has too many tourists, too many hotels and restaurant etc.
However in reality who really wants to live in a dull boring soul destroying suburbicon ? In Palmcove you can swim in resorts, eat at 5 star restaurants and you literally live in paradise.
If you want quiet you can drive 2 mins to Ellis or alternatively basically innumerable other boring suburbs in Cairns.

"A tourist town with nothing but restaurants"
You can't park near the beach most of the time as Palm Cove is seriously overdeveloped with inadequate facilities. Crowded and full of tourists. Not a local spot. Avoid if you like peace and quiet. Restaurants are good as is beach when not crowded.

"A stunning place to live and retire - if you don't mind tourists!"
Palm Cove is a stunning beach location just 20 km north of Cairns. The beachfront strip is full of top end hotels and apartments, and so it is a very popular destination with sun-seeking tourists. There are a number of very stylish apartments for permanent residency, as well as the typical Queensland homes in the surrounding streets.
This is the stunning spot if you're looking for relaxed coastal living. There are the benefits of the tropical Queensland climate, not to mention the many top quality restaurants in the area. All of the basics are there (such as a post office and grocery store), plus many recreational activiities (swimming pool, tennis courts etc). Cairns is only a short drive away.
