Trinity Park, QLD 4879

Trinity Park was a small sleepy community, almost part of the more well known Trinity Beach, separated by the Earl Hill nature reserve.
It is now growing with hundreds of new houses and a marina, making it a suburb of two halves.
The newer part has added shops, a tavern and a small shopping centre.
The beach is a beautiful, unspoilt beach, not safe for swimming due to the proximity to the creek but perfect for a quiet walk or relaxation and access to the Earl Hill nature reserve and walking track.
The new marina adds interest and offers a boat ramp.

We moved here a year ago after initially planing on purchasing in Kewarra Beach. We are so glad we chose Trinity Park over Kewarra. Kewarra seems tired and you've got the extra 10 mins drive each way when you need something from the shops or dropping the kids at school. Smithfield village is so convenient to all the major facilities in Smithfield but just far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. The little shopping village is also fantastic. Great little cafe/bar, pizza, Thai, Gym, Fresh fruit & veges, bakery, doctors...etc. Away from the trouble hotspots up on Reed Rd. Some of the new areas are a little light on trees, as are most new estates. (To all the wingers complaining about the atmosphere, plant some tress, thats what happened in the older leafy areas. They didn't pop up miraculously by themselves!) In fact the drive into the village from Reed Rd is a beautiful lush boulevard of established greenery. The area around the shopping village is particularly nice and well established. Looking up QLD police crime figures also tells a story. Both Kewarra and Trinity Beach have more crime activity logged with the police than Trinity Park. Unfortunately there is nowhere that has zero crime, but Trinity Park is pretty good.

I live in the older part near the beach end. It is a very peaceful suburb and all of my neighbors are middle aged with families, they have always been very friendly and are always willing to lend a hand. We are so close to any shop you could possibly need. With the new Cinema opened at Smithfield there is no need to go near town. I feel safe with my children playing at the numerous parks around. ( 2 Just in my street), or for the older ones catching a bus to the shopping centre just 15mins up the road.

I've lived in Trinity Park for several years now near the beach end. Great spot for a quiet walk along the beach, dinner or beer with friends at the nearby tavern that overlooks the Marina. The boat ramp is literally 300m from my house. What can I say...Perfect. There is an area near the water that is designated for tourist development. A developer currently holds it and if the plans go ahead it will be the "new" trinity beach everyone refers to in the previous posts. As for mozzies.... it's the tropics. If you don't like mozzies go live in Melbourne.

I first rented in Trinity Park and then decided to buy. Houses are great value. Close to the shopping centre and beaches. Newly built local shopping centre which is very convenient. Close to private primary school and Smithfield High School and also University. Lovely neighbours. Nice and quiet and safe. Has everything and more you will need.

Lived there for around 18 months. Boring as hell. All the houses look the same. Roads were so narrow they fit 1 car going down. Horrible.

New suburb lacking character. Not enough trees and parks are very sterile. Roads are very narrow. Houses jammed in. Look cheap.

All houses look the same and most are of poor quality. Not a part of the Northern beaches which starts at Trinity Beach. Houses so close together you can hear your neighbours sneeze. Beach is riddled with mosquitoes. Poor neighbour spirit. Only thing good is the proximity to shops.
