Best QLD acreage areas not too far from the coast for teenagers and education/low crime

We are moving to Queensland and are open to any areas that we can have acreage for the horses but the teenagers have enough to do, including after school jobs. There is family in Bundaberg but others have said there is a lot of crime there and education not the best. We dont know so asking! Many thanks!
