Do you prefer Canal front living or Beachfront living?

On Bribie Island, for example, we have the best of both worlds, with fabulous Canal homes as well as a choice of affordable homes waterfront and near beachfront homes. Do you dock your boat on your own pontoon in your backyard, or do you dock the boat at the marina and live by the beach?

I prefer Beachfront living as I am not into boating. From Coolum Beach there are stunning beach front homes in Yaroomba and Peregian Beach. If you are looking for Canal Living head to Twin Waters or Noosa Waters.

Beach Front living for me. Although the maintenance on the property may be a little higher, the ability to walk out your front or back door and onto the beach and feeling the sand between your toes HAS to be high up on the priority list. There is something about the sound of waves crashing during the night that soothes the inner soul.

I tend to agree Brent, there is something about the sound of waves crashing. There is also something to said for walking out your back door and onto your boat, moored on your own private pontoon. Best of both worlds on offer here on Bribie Island.

You cannot swim in both canals and rivers due to bull sharks 🦈. Not a myth. But you can swim at beach. Weird.
