"Evrything But Space"

Canberra's CBD has everything to offer but space. It does have a high crime rate but if you act sensibly and always travel in couples or groups you should not have a problem. It is certainly the heart of the action as there are so many shopping and leisure activities on offer but it lacks the family infrastructure of schools and preschools. It is great for singles and students but families and the elderly might find it more of a struggle. Great place to visit but the jury is out on whether it is a great place to live.

Great for

  • Close to the action
  • Plenty of shopping and leisure options

Not great for

  • Lack of personal yard space
  • Crime
  • Traffic
