"Enviable Address"

The Entrance to a Enviable Lifestyle awaits!

The northern Gold Coast's Hope Island is home to the upmarket Sanctuary Cove and Santa Barbara developments, which have grown in prestige and value over the past 20 years. With a raft of well-planned community facilities, it is easy to see why.

The continual development of Hope Island and surrounding areas, conveniently located in the growth corridor between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, has seen the area grow steadily over recent years. The Hope Island area area is a very popular part of the Gold Coast, with its close proximity to all amenities and it attracts a range of buyers.

Families are well catered for, with plenty of community facilities and services, located close to 10 schools with shopping centres and theme parks and the Pacific Motorway only minutes away. However, the main buyer demographic is retired or semi-retired couples with interests in boating and golf.

There are many golf courses in the district, including Hope Island Resort, the Pines Private and the Palms Golf Courses.

The majority of home ownership on Hope Island is group titled offering a wide range of new prestigious and well-secured developments with both dry and wet blocks designed to provide a safe environment for families.

For buyers looking for something more exclusive, the Hope Island Resort offers a world-class golf course and million-dollar homes.

Developed in the 1980s, Sanctuary Cove has grown to consist of two excellent golf courses, Marine Village shopping centre, which has more than 75 shops ranging from gift shops to restaurants, the Hyatt Regency Hotel, numerous cafes and bars, and lots of very expensive housing options.

Access in and out of Hope Island is possible by car or by boat - via Sanctuary Cove's marina located on a natural waterway on the Coomera River, which flows to the Southport Broadwater and the Pacific Ocean. The Brisbane and Gold Coast airports are both within 50 minutes' drive.

Sanctuary Cove's village community includes new harbour front dining precinct, a country club facility, recreation club and community sports ground.

The beauty of the area, deep-water mooring facilities, luxury housing developments and access in and out of the neighbouring Coomera River area, all contribute to help make Hope Island one of the Gold Coast's most prestigious suburbs.

"Crime?"

no crime here, I have lived in Auckland & LA and the reason I moved back here is the lack of crime!
the worst offence I have seen in Pacific Pines was last week when I witnessed a child chalk his name on a driveway!

I agree with Andrew, if you have ever lived abroad you will appreciate 'petty crime' & not confuse with 'real crime'

We have local real estate agents trolling locals and telling them that their personal experiences in the area are false and misleading.

Oxenford

"Opportunity is knocking between coomera & pacific pines, its called Oxenford!"

Oxenford is a popular choice with families and has become a strong residential area as opposed to the rural region it once was. Oxenford is synonymous with the northern Gold Coast’s transformation in the past few years and is becoming increasingly popular as the urban sprawl spreads further away from the centre of the city

Houses in this region vary with some fantastic opportunities available. House prices vary depending on size and location but there is still land available with residential acreage still on offer. With a number of master planned communities and estates being developed in the area opportunities are endless. Waterfront homes are also available.

Oxenford Central is a local shopping centre with a Woolworths as well as 16 other specialty stores. The closest major shopping centre is Westfield Helensvale which has a Kmart, Target, Woolworths and Aldi as well as a range of specialty stores.

Primary: Oxenford, Helensvale, Coomera and Coomera special. Secondary: Helensvale. Colleges: Saint Stephen’s, Coomera Anglican, Assisi Catholic College, AB Paterson, Upper Coomera State College.

The Lodge in Upper Coomera is a 10-minute drive and accommodates 49 residents in purpose-built heritage-style cottages (co-located with The Homesteads Nursing Centre). Riverside Residential Resort on Riverbrooke Dr is a new riverfront over 50s resort offering two and three bedroom homes and full facilities. There are display homes on site.

Oxenford Medical Centre, 5 Michigan Drive, Oxenford

Gold Coast after-hours medical centres and after-hours chemists

Oxenford sits on the M1 Motorway so access to Brisbane and the southern Gold Coast is simple. Local buses in the area run twice an hour and the Helensvale train station is a five-minute drive away.

Gold Coast bus, train, plane timetables and transport planners

This area is well located close to shopping centres as well as three of the Gold Coast’s famous theme parks, Dreamworld, Movie World and Wet ‘n’ Wild. The Gold Coast City Marina is located nearby in Coomera with 200 water berths and everything needed for boating available. The Waterlife Restaurant & Café is available for a coffee, meal or functions. Numerous restaurants and cafes are situated at Westfield Helensvale, about five minutes away, as well as Options Tavern.

Gainsborough Greens Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course that is recognised as a good course that once hosted the Queensland PGA for three years running. Visitors are welcome.

Park Lake Estate is known as Australia's largest residential playground with six individual play areas including swings, slides, flying fox, Park Lake castle, basketball 1/2 court, outdoor gym equipment and the soon to be re-opened in-ground pool.

38% of the estate is non-developable estate forest and not forgetting that brand new school that is within walking distance to this wonderful family home.

Maudsland is centrally located 40 minutes to Brisbane and 30 minutes to Coolangatta airport. In less than 20 minutes, you can be enjoying the boating, fishing, surfing and swimming fun on the beautiful Gold Coast beaches. The stunning vistas and wine trails of the Hinterland are just a short drive away.

Located a short 5 minute drive from the M1 on the dynamic rapidly growing northern corridor of the Gold Coast, Maudsland has been developed with the lifestyle needs of all the family in mind.

With more than 40% of the area dedicated as bushland, the area features tranquil natural streams, parklands, lake, bike and walking trails, and sporting facilities. In close proximity are a number of private and state schools including the modern new Park Lakes Primary School, High Schools, Childcare facilities, Westfield Helensvale, local shopping precincts and Helensvale railway station as well as all the internationally renowned Theme Parks.

If an opportunity arises for you to purchase in the safe and friendly estate of picturesque Park Lake I personally recommend you seriously consider this.

Park Lake is a naturally beautiful oasis, sheltered by tall pines and native bushland, centered around one of Australia's largest residential playgrounds.

Hi Chris,
We are looking at relocating once my daughter finishes high school but looking to buy and rent out until then.
Would you recommend this area for family with teenagers? My kids will not k ow anyone so wanting to live somewhere where there are teenagers etc.
We would move earlier but the school system is different for ages up there and my daughter doesn't want to repeat.
Any other suburb recommendations?
