San Remo

"Best views of Phillip Island and a great place to raise a family."

San Remo: I still remember 25 years ago, when there wasn't much more than a few milk bars, the pubs and the best fish and chips going around. We'd stop on the way home in the Ford XY and grab garlic prawns and Flake for around $5 after a day spent at the beach. San Remo is still the gateway to Phillip Island, yet there is something much bigger happening here? Have you noticed?

I have and I wonder how many of you are also curious about what this means to Real Estate in the area? I've had a few people ask me the same thing, will all the building affect housing prices?

To be honest, initially maybe we will see fluctuations, however we need to be focusing on the bigger picture. San Remo has some of the best views in South East Victoria with all the easy access of the freeway and getting up town. There are many families and Melbournites buying up property here to capitalise on later... A great place to raise a family.

Reach out for a chat and I will share some ideas with you.

I love San Remo, for multiple reasons and I still get that ahhhh feeling as I drive back from Melbourne and get my first glimpses coming over the hill.

Cape Woolamai

"Wild and Woolly Cape Woolamai"

Wild Coast, Cape Woolamai.
Famous for being one of the most treacherous bits of Surf coast in the area, with it's many rips and unpredictability.

Personally I love it for the wildness that it invokes, the beauty of its ruggedness and crashing waves.

Cape Woolamai is fast becoming a popular suburb of Phillip Island for a number of reasons.

* Close proximity to the bridge making commuting to Melbourne that bit quicker.

* The nature, the walks and miles of Beaches to choose from relaxed bathing to the wild surf.

* The few cafes, best woodfired pizzas and small convenience store, allows its residents to get basic needs without having to come to Cowes or San Remo.

* Whilst still affordable, it is fast becoming a little bustling area of activity, from Renovations, new Builds and an increase in value.

Won't be long and Melbourne buyers will be rushing in to grab the last of the under $500,000 coastal homes.
