Miranda Road

"Close to Miranda Westfields"

This road is full of apartments that aren’t that new, it’s very practical not necessarily somewhere you would prefer to live. It has advantages that it is near to Westfield’s, so shopping is never an issues and being near there, there are some restaurants.

The train line is reasonable, and only a short walk. There are a number of sporting grounds nearby.

Purchase Road

"One of the main streets in Cherrybrook"

The local high school and public school are located on this street, so at the start and finish of the school day this road is congested with many cars of parents picking up and dropping of their kids, and then the school buses as well. This street can barely cope with this congestion, but I guess that’s what you get from so many students attending the schools, the high school being one of the top non selective high schools in NSW.

Stanhope Gardens

"Project Home Suburb"

This suburb is probably one of the best project home suburbs I've visited. The leisure centre that is in this suburb is great, has a good pool and gym.

The houses tend to be on small blocks. The streets have been planned quite well.

Old Berrara Road

"Wonderful quiet village on the South Coast"

Beautiful street between the national park and the beach. Extremely quiet except at peak holiday times.

Not much utilities around, but thats perfect if you just want to get away to relax.

Cliff Road

"Great View, Good Food, Wonderful Beaches"

This street is what makes Wollongong a place to visit; it has some really nice cafes on the top the cliff especially Aqua restaurant with great food. This is where the access to the sea pools are, which is a great place to go for a swim or just chill with some friends, and it mixes it up from the wonderful beaches.

Pomona Street

"Backs onto bushland"

This street has the Baden Powell Scout Centre at the end, and it is the best place for this to be located. It backs onto bushland so there are a few day walks, that you can take and can make your way to Pennant Hills Park.

On days there is something on at the Centre the street ends up being full of cars, but on other days the street is rather quiet. This houses on the street are very nice and modest, however I don't think the residents are too keen about the scout centre.

This street is located rather close to Pennant Hills train station, and the shops that are nearby.

Valley Drive

"Pleasant street with a mix of older homes and substantial modern properties with great outlooks."

Valley Drive is one of the prestige streets in Figtree, particularly the elevated western end where there are very substantial and impressive properties. Easy drive to well regarded public schools at Lindsay Park and Nareena Hills as well as Figtree Westfield Shopping Centre. Great views of Mt Keira and the escarpment.
