A great little hub with access to a variety of shops and a large woolworths. Access to transport. Alot of renovated cottages and mayfield is very central to newcastle.
Does have areas of lower social economics.

Extremely central to Newcastle CBD. Access to ample Merewether/Newcastle schools. Minutes to the beach and some great sized blocks. A variety of young couples (unit blocks), elderly and families.

"Growing Suburb"

Glendale has grown drastically over the past few years and there are plans to grow it more. Close to mega shopping centre Glendale super centre, 5 minutes to lake macquarie and minutes to the freeway

"A large community"

A large community spirit in Maryland with an excellent school and daycare centres. There is a duck pond and great walking track. Maryland is quite large and is filled with families.

"Sometimes Busy"

Woodford street is a long street and runs directly through the middle of minmi. The local school and shops are located on this street.
Some great blocks and homes here however it can be busy of a day as it is a main road onto the freeway

"Leafy Area"

A great street with good sized blocks. Some blocks are a little hilly. Very quiet and close to the local park.
There are alot of trees around which provides a very leafy outlook. The area is filled with families and children

"Family orientated"

Fletcher is a newer suburb in the outskirts of Maryland. There are alot of newer builds and the community is very family orientated. With more developments happening, more families are moving to the area.
Local schools include Glendore public as well as Catholic school, Bishop Tyrrell.
Local shopping centre, fletcher village and sporting ovals are within walking distance.

Smith street is one street away from the main street of Charlestown. You can walk to Charlestown square, local shops, transport, doctors surgery's and schools.

"Central Location"

Having worked in Charlestown for the past 9 years, the ease to navigate around the suburb was a stand out. Some great large blocks, very family orientated and centrally located to Charlestown Square shopping centre and Newcastle CBD. A mixture of the elderly and families with two great schools.

"2 minute walk to Wests"

A flat, quiet street with alot of cottages. Filled with families and a great community. Walk to local Wests Leagues and Lambton hub. Thalaba road is also within walking distance to loca parks, skate parks, McDonald Jones Football stadium & Lambton pool. I highly recommend its location

"The centre of Newcastle"

Lambton is the centre of the town. Being 10 minutes into Newcastle's CBD or 10 minutes to Lake Macquarie. Lambton consists of middle aged families and has a great community spirit. The cafes are to die for and there are plenty to choose from!
