Coffs Harbour

Lovely place to live, nice climate and you can be out of the centre of town in minutes up the mountain or at the beach. One of the nicest place I have lived. However like many towns of this size - just too big so that we dont all know (and care about) each other - the council is shocking, inefficient and expensive with overly high rates, any charge they can think of, and a real "big I am" attitude. Only other thing I dont like is the bloody highway which runs right through the centre of town. There has been a bypass planned since Adam was a boy, but noone has the oney to build it.
LIke all larger towns there are nice areas to live - and not so nice.

Albany

"Nice area to live, cooler than Perth."

I lived there several years and loved it. However it is growing fast and I found the services not keeping up with the growth of population. Hospital for example is a shocker. And York street in the the centre of town is pretty enough to look at, but not very functional - the centre of town needs a whole new redesign. Climate is lovely and there are some super beaches.

Takenup Rd

"Lovely rural area"

A great sense of community and a lovely setting for some super rural properties. Nicest ones back onto Kalgan river and/or Takenup Creek. Only half an hour to Albany.

Branders Road

"Small quiet rural area, but within easy reach of facilities in Sorell (5 mins) and Hobart (30 mins)"

Very quiet, no through road, unsealed road, single lane. Homes only on one side, open paddocks on the other. Ideal for hobby farmers or those who like to get out of town. Also great for kids who can safely can play in the road.
