Queens Park

"Great area!!!"

Charing Cross Hotel, also in the Art Deco styleCharing Cross is a locality in eastern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Charing Cross is part of the suburb of Waverley and is situated at the intersection of Bronte Road and Carrington Road. The name is used to describe this intersection and the short shopping strip extending to the east along Bronte Road, and is used as a reference point for the homes and schools located around it.

The locality is named after Charing Cross, London, England. At one point a railway station was proposed at Charing Cross for the Eastern Suburbs railway line. Charing Cross was a much more significant shopping area prior to the rise in importance of Bondi Junction, including a large Westfield shopping centre there. It fell into decline with shops closing, but recently has been reflecting the gentrification of the area with the moving in of up-market clothing and gourmet food stores.

"Great place to rent, rather expensive to buy."

If you can afford it , great! This is a great place to buy, close to Sydney Harbour National Park and Manly, you feel like your not near the city.

Nestled in a tightly held cul-de-sac, this street offers outstanding convenience and is situated between Redleaf Pool and Double Bay's cosmopolitan village shopping scene.

Very expensive, but has seen major growth!

Wolaroi Crescent

"Great street in one of Sydneys best suburbs."

This tiny beach is nestled between Bondi and Bronte and is frequented exclusively by Sydney's A society people. While the surf can be dangerous, Tamarama beach is a haven for serious sunbathing as well as celebrity watching.

The beachfront cafe has a well-deserved reputation and the park behind the beach offers picnic tables and barbecue facilities - great day out while looking out for celebrities. Three inspectors patrol the beach daily between October and May (9am-7pm) and volunteer lifesavers are also on duty at the weekend and public holidays (Summer only). Very limited car parking, one of the down
points of this area but great to keep it quite!

Median House Price (Oct '09): $3,450,000 - one of Sydneys highest.

Vaucluse Road

"Great Area, Expensive but there is a reason for that!"

Most of the street is quite with not much traffic, some homes have uninterrupted views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, also some look out over Shark Island and the tops of well-known estates like ‘The Hermitage' and ‘Tahiti'. This is definently a street for Sydney's elite and properties rarley come up for sale.
