Tapping

"Fantastic Tucked Away Suburb"

My partner and I didn't even know Tapping existed and we have lived in Perth for most of our lives. We drove up there to check out a potential property and were astounded at what we found. Joondalup is a thriving metropolis in its own right, and Tapping is a great tucked away, quiet, suburb not too far from all the action. From our house there are eight schools, three child care centres, a shopping centre, three parks (one directly across from us which is the size of a football field) and the street we live on is quiet to boot. We couldn't be happier with the area, the neighbours or anything else. Plus, there is hardly any crime. I think Tapping is the perfect suburb for families, professional couples and people looking to retire. There's no need to even go to the city unless you work there, and if you do it's only about 40-45 minutes straight down the freeway. We used to live in Success and it takes just as long from there even though Success is closer to the city, probably because the freeway North of the River is so much bigger and there are only 2 ways to get into the city from South and they both involve crossing small bridges. Tapping is great and I would recommend it to anyone.

Cape Street

"Lovely little (long) street"

Lived on Cape Street for over a year now and love it. Close to the freeway without noise, the local government is starting to do up the roads including median strips and trees, it's nice and leafy, the neighbours are lovely. There are mostly units along Cape Street set behind security gates. In the area a lot of new houses and units are going up which is bringing up house prices. Daycares, schools and parks all close by. Restauarants right there on Main Street with a Butchers, IGA, doctors, 2 chemists etc. Close to the beach, 2 major shopping centres and 10 mins to the city in peak hour traffic... Can't complain about anything!
