Reviews of Wandana Heights, VIC
"Location, Location"
I recently answered a question from a Homely member who was concerned about the proximity to the highway and I just wanted to reiterate - it's actually a really quiet area and incredibly family friendly.
A majority of properties there are owner occupy (over 86%)! It's a very tightly held area if you can get in, it would be worth it. The suburb growth has increased 21% over the last 12 months - that's HUGE in Geelong. That growth is definitely reflected in the rental prices too as they've increased quite a bit.
It mightn't have the cafes and shopping strips you're after, but Highton village is just a hop, skip and jump and that has some lovely local produce. You're also very close to the Barwon River and local reserves which is a beautiful spot for a walk.

"Beautiful views with an area to match"
Its a smart, elegant area yet perfect for all people. It is safe and friendly and has many parks and green spaces, and is near the Geelong ring road, to commute to Melbourne or In and around Geelong. It is very close to shopping areas such as Waurn Ponds and only 15 minutes into Geelong city centre and has a very friendly shopping area on Roselyn Road in Highton just a walk away with nice restaurants and cafes. On top of it all, it is a good investment as the market is growing rapidly in the area, and is more established than the newer builds, yet it is still being taken care of, and being improved.
