We are thinking of buying in Blue Haven
My Wife and I are seriously wanting to leave the Western Sydney rat race behind us at the end of this year (2013) after our son finishes his HSC. We are in our mid forties and are amazed at what appears to be great value for nice homes in the Blue Haven area. We want to make this move our last. I would be so grateful for any local thoughts, advice and knowledge any of you living there would like to share. Thank you OzyVol :-)

I moved to blue haven in 2001 so much better than living in hassall grove close to beaches ,lake,shops its changed so much over 12 years handy to freeway north and south other nice areas are lake munmorah and gwandalan i wouldn't live any further south than warnervale as traffic becomes to like sydney at times,

the area is the best value on the entire central coast. i have lived on the coast my whole life, selling homes from woy woy to wyee and everything in between. Good schools, easy freeway access and close to the lakes and beaches. feel free to drop me a line and i can make sure your questions are answered.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Lucky. Our daughter and her Fiancé are going to be moving up the central coast but the southern part as he is a policeman stationed in Sydney and doesn't want to commute from the Northern suburbs of the central coast. My wife and I currently live in Woodcroft very close to hassal grove. We are so looking forward to moving out of this Sydney madness. :-)
