Reviews of Droop Street, Footscray
"Can't beat the convenience!"
Fantastic location, with unbeatable convenience. The Moonee Ponds - Footscray tram runs along this street, so it's easy to access Highpoint and Moonee Ponds. There's a bus to Yarraville, or you can also easily walk to Seddon and Yarraville. Many houses with heritage charm and character. Easy to walk down to the Barkly St restaurant/hospitality precinct for food and drinks. Footscray market is nearby, as well as Coles and Kmart. Would be nice if there were more trees, but overall it's a wonderful place to live and so easy to get to the city and other places.

I totally agree with your review. A friend of mine who has been living at the same street mentions that it is worth the money to invest in this area early and many developments are happening, i.e student apartments which will be a good investment as the Victoria University is just metres away.
