Looking for a home in Gelorup?

"Gelorup ticks ALL the right boxes"

My wife and I have lived in Gelorup just 10km south of Bunbury town centre for 9 years.
Having lived in various areas from Geraldton in the NW., to Hamelin Bay in the south west of WA.and we love it here in Gelorup.
Reasons: Peaceful area , Great neighbours , Open space with room to move , Great for kids, Room for workshop /stables, cars and visitors.Great weather all year round, the wildlife , Horse activity friendly area and events.
Gelorup is very close to all amenities such as Hospitals, Airports Shops and Supermarkets of every type ,Great schools Tafe and Campus.
Great beaches in all direction weather they be safe kids beaches , surfing and fishing, walking and cycle tracks all round the beaches.
Boating /sailing and kite surfing, you name it this area has got it!
Gelorup is at the gateway to the South West Wine and Surf areas of Busselton and Margaret River, in which Busselton is only 30 minutes south from Gelorup.
The upgrading and construction around the Koombana bay and Surrounds including the Dolphin centre is happening in this area as is the future upgrading of the outer Harbour.
Great news for Gelorup ,is the funding for the Bunbury Outer Ring road has been approved as the project will reduce major traffic congestion on Bussel hwy. from Bunbury to Stratham 15kms south of Bunbury.

"Gelorup...the best of both worlds"

I love Gelorup! The quiet peaceful tranquility on rare country acreage close to city facilities. It boasts close proximity to two great private schools and one public school, gorgeous white sandy beaches, both private and public hospitals, great employment opportunities, close proximity to the gorgeous panoramic vineyards of Ferguson Valley, Margaret River tourist region and the Bridgetown/Balingup region. A great neighbourhood with many professionals choosing this area without the noise and intrusion of 'close' neighbours, but still offering a wonderful sense of community for those that choose. We live close to a beautiful nature reserve with running brook which offer's lovely nature walks and an abundance of birds, kangaroos and other wildlife. Gelorup has it's own community centre, library, bmx park, nearby surf lifesaving club and sporting facilities and community groups and activities. There has been plenty of safe and healthy outdoor activity for our kids away from the temptations that city life often brings. We also had space to plant our own organic vegie patch and mini orchard. Thank you Gelorup....you have given us the best that WA has to offer.

"Best of both worlds"

I've seen most of what Western Australia has to offer and Dalyellup has it all. Beautiful beaches, natural forest, public parks and cycle paths are abundant here - it's an excellent environment for teenagers to develop a love of the outdoors. The biggest bonus is the fact that the Bunbury city and it's hospitals, TAFE, University and major sporting grounds are all only a 5 minute drive away. I wouldn't live anywhere else!

Rentals in Gelorup

"Why Gelorup"

Gelorup is a semi rural location within minutes south of Bunbury, Western Australia's second largest city. The primary and primary/secondary schooling is of high standards and within minutes of SW Sports campus and beautiful white sandy beaches along the protected Geographe bay region. The Gelorup community is close knit and forward thinking, and very protective of the semi rural amenity that makes Gelorup home, home to families and the red crested parrot. Within a few years the Bunbury ring road will be established redirecting through traffic from local dual laned highway that links through to Margaret River. Astute property owners are buying up land now and building dream homes in the area, driving up values and prices of land which are all set to soar in this sought after location. Get in now to secure a piece of paradise like nowhere else. There are some very affordable properties available, so my advice is don't delay!
