Kenny Street, Bassendean, WA 6054

There is a reason that Kenny St is considered one of the premier streets in Basso. Tree lined and leafy, lots of beautiful old character homes that people take great pride in. I have never lived on a street where there isn't some sort of reno going on. The houses here are loved, in beautiful condition and the neighbours are very house proud. At the end of the street is a train station. At the other end, the entrance to Ashfield flats and the river. We have lived here for over 7 years and have not for a day regretted living here. Such a beautiful street with wonderful folk there is a reason why the houses here sell for a great price and retain their value.

The council are hopeless, totally self absorbed paper flippers that need to grab a set and make some things happen... The crime considering its low density is horrendeous. Area very run down. Verges and footopaths in a poor state. Parks are under utilised....serious lack of facilities.....Big deal they have a Skate Park.....have you seen it? Its at the entrance to the town constantly covered with litter. This area is fine if you want to find a cheap dump and pour a couple of hundred thousand into it.....People in the area are generally friendly they have a sense of ownership.....I guess its like any other small town....if you grew up there youd get along just fine.....
Read the local paper and you'll get an idea.

Best thing they have there is the library.
