Reviews of Langwarrin Crs, Langwarrin

"A walk away to main shopping centre, good schools, public transport, good roads and access to main freeways"

Good street as handy to everything, nice established trees, green, easy walk to stores and schools, off main road so no through access, older houses with residents that have lived there for years, some need renovating, others are renovations in progress, nice place to live, we are renovating and will be living here for a long time with our young family as we are a walk away from our close friends, shops, public transport not that we use it, servos plus all the shopping centres a short drive away.

Langwarrin is fantastic, many good schools near by surrounded by large bush reserves for bike riding or just spending the day with the kids. Beaches under 10min away and close to freeway and large shopping centres. Langwarrin Crescent is a lovely street and has it all. You can walk to the Langi Pub or local cricket club. Great spot.

"Great street to live on!"

We moved here within the past year into a nice home, this street is quiet, and a no thouroughfare crescent meaning the kids can play outside without a worry, we have a park a few metres away, a popular walking track on our front door step, a little reserve down the other end of the street and lots of shady trees. We can walk to all resources including supermarkets, postoffice, bus stops, 24hr gym, takeaways, grog shop, go lo plus many more convenience stores, many of the houses on our street our older, but we have noticed with the turnover of homeowners, meaning older residents moving, younger families are moving in and renovating so the street will look very nice once a few more houses are completed. The kids walk or ride to Langwarrin Park which is a fantastic school and has their own pool, dance studio, theatre, footy oval, and atheletes track, great teachers plus more, also the local high school is just far enough away not to hear it, but close enough for our bigger kids to walk to, another child of ours has a scholarship at a private school so can catch the bus from only a few metres away on the main road, including the 2 other primary schools that are also very good, if you can buy a house in this vicinity or close by it would be a very wise investment as it is so close to great facilites. The neighbours mostly keep to themselves which we prefer but are also friendly. Major shopping centres are a mere drive away including superstores in both Karingal, frankston, and cranbourne, with easy access to most suburbs including hastings, mornington, dandnong etc etc.

We are central to both bays so can go to any beach we want, including a enjoyable drive to phillip island.

We have built brand new homes before but feel safe and at peace in our current renovated home, it has everything we love but could not get in our new homes as far as character goes and without the price tag, with polished floor boards, bifolds, swimming pool plus all the modern conveniences we enjoy. Langwarrin Crescent is great street, located off Southgateway and Jackson if you can buy a house to renovate here you will only reak in the benefits as we found out after only 10 months here our house with the renos at a cost of $20,000 is now valued at another $65000 on top of purchase price.

yes I agree totally we also have increased the value in our house within a short period of living here,, our house has gone from drab to full of character and modern facilities, the blocks of land are the old fashion size, therefore you dont step out on the neighbours house like we did with our last modern 38 square home, therefore we are able to walk around our house in total privacy. We use LPPS as well it is a fantastic school. When we first moved here we worked out we were saving an average of $70 a week in petrol as were are able to walk to everything including schools and conveniences.
