Hi Lucas,
I recommend you have a look at Bentleigh and Bentleigh East.
Plenty of childcare options, Primary Schools, Sporting Clubs and parks as well as being close to both Westfield Southland and Chadstone Shopping centre. 5-10 minutes away from the beach and about a half hour away from the city , plenty of gyms, healthcare facilities and supermarkets etc
The only thing either lack is nightlife
