Melbourne social clubs offering a wide variety of activities to explore the city.

I'm aware of the Fun, Food and Friendship site offering six and twelve-month memberships. They host events including dinners, bar events, trivia nights, concerts and music events and day trips.

What are others possibly even with no membership required?

Have you heard of the website meetup.com? A wide variety of events of an offer and many of them free to attend and no membership required as the website makes money from the group organisers.

Here are a few groups I thought you might be interested in offering general social events that many different people attend.

Another site is My Social Circle similar to fun, food and friendship in that they have memberships but shorter options with 1, 3, 6 and 12 months to choose from. You can also attend as a non-member and pay a little extra which is what I have done in the past so I only go to the events I really want.

My Social Circle only seems to have one event a month listed

I used to attend Youngs Promotions events (www.youngs-promotions.com.au) that did not have a membership fee but had a big mix of events but they merged into the Melbourne Social Club. They host a free end of month drinks event in city bars for everyone as well as a wide variety of other members events,
