Melbourne's best running areas?

I'm an avid runner. I like the tan in South Yarra but also think running along the beach in port Melbourne is nice. Can you suggest any other great running locations near the city?

You have plenty of options. If you work in the city, it is nice running out of the city towards South Yarra on the track along the water. Also can be really nice running through Fawkner Park, not sure of any other options however to these two.
