Rental help
I am wanting to move to Melbourne. I have lived in Tasmania all my life.
I dont know much about any of the suburbs of Melbourne. But I am starting to look around possible areas to move to, all online, so it has been difficult to get a feeling of them. I want to spend an absolute maximum of $400 per week or less, on rent and I want to live in a safe area, where I can park my car without worries and with public transport to the city and surrounds. I need somewhere that has lots of growing families and childcare centres, because that's what I do for work.
My main priorities are:
somewhere safe to be on my own,
close to basic essentials,
my car parked safely (not stolen),
decent public transport
employment opportunities in childcare
Can anyone recommend suburbs that might fit my needs, within no more than 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours drive from CBD.
I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance! :)
