Safe, friendly areas in Melbourne, not too far from the CBD, for a young couple travelling.
We're planning on living in Melbourne for a year, we're coming from London, UK. It would be helpful to find out areas not too far away from the CBD, with things to do in the day, nightlife, restaurant options, as well as being a friendly neighbourhood.
