Where to live as an expat in Melbourne?

Here are a few that I know. Make sure you check them out.

Brunswick (North)
With a unpretentious art scene and many cafes, bars and restaurants. Brunswick has plenty to offer for people, even if it's just walking around and seeing creative hub that is within this suburb. The property types tend to be older Victorian builds. The public transport in and out is fantastic and Brunswick is a little bubble within itself.

Richmond (East)
Like many inner city suburbs, sometimes its best and definitely not necessary to not have a car.
Richmond is well connected with PT throughout the suburb, some parts of Richmond are within a few minutes walking distance to the CBD. So many places to go out a drink and eat, you won’t need to eat at the same place twice.

Yarraville (West)
Slightly more upmarket compared to the other two suburbs, wine bars, art deco cinemas, outstanding restaurants from top to bottom. only 4 miles away from the CBD, so obviously well connected. This suburb has got plenty to do and plenty of ways to entertain.
