Where to live in Melbourne that is safe and affordable.
Melbourne (Greater) Region is located in the state of Victoria.
My family and I are moving to Melbourne next year. We live in Sydney and are looking for an affordable house that's close to the city, close to a good secondary school, not a scungy area.I saw a lot of house and land developments in the West, North, Southeast but I'm not sure which one is good.

Hi Adam. Thank you for your response. Our budget is max $530. 2 br and 2 bathrooms. Would like to be in a good area possibly near the city, with good high school and public transportation.
