St Kilda Beach
This beach is located closest to the city, so you can presume that it is very popular. only 2KM away from the CBD.
Very well connected with public transport, you can get the 3, 16 and 96 tram.
The beach is safest to swim by the northern pier near the lifesaving club.

Half Moon Bay
If you are looking to get out the city, this picturesque beach has calm waters.
19km from the CBD, and the nearest train station is Cheltenham.

Mordialloc Beach
If you are looking for a beach with a huge playground that has BBQ facilities. Then Mordialloc is a great beach to head too. 25km from the CBD.
