Lovely thank you for that. Are there any other synagogues further out ?

I think most are around the city but this website has a list and some suburbs are a little further out: http://www.jewishaustralia.com/prayer.htm#MEL

Great thank you!. I dont know Melbourne, any idea which ones are further out?. Wanting sonewhere thats leafy with decent back yard for 4 boys, 2 cats, 2 dogs and hubby

No problem :) Well most of the Synagogues & Congregations on the jewish Australia page are close to the cbd. There's one in Doncaster which is a little further away but still only about a half hour or so from the city, Doncaster does have some large blocks as does Templestowe which is right next door. Both are nice areas although Doncaster doesn't have the best public transport, theres no train station.

Aww lovely thanks so much. Thats what I need :)
