Reviews of Norwood, TAS

"Lovely Norwood"

Norwood is just a 10 minute drive from the Launceston CBD which makes it convenient yet free from the fasted pace hustle and bustle of the city. With a lovely community feel, Norwood is a perfect place to grow up or to grow old. With an IGA, local schools and cafes Norwood is a lovely place to be.

"Nothing not to like about Norwood"

Close to local schools and shops, the leafy suburb of Norwood is a favourite for families and couples alike. Enjoy the walking tracks and picnic areas or, a game of basketball or cricket at the Charlton Street Reserve, there really is something for everyone in Norwood.

As the owner of a Property Management business in Launceston and working in the Real Estate industry for almost 25 years, I am lucky enough to assist people looking to invest or finding homes for people moving to our State. Living in Launceston is simple, safe and it has such a great community spirit.

"Quiet Residential Suburb"

Norwood boasts a large range of residences for all groups of people. Ranging from large family homes to smaller sized units and flats, Norwood has nearly any type of home you could want. With excellent schools in its proximity, Norwood also has a range of small businesses including takeaways, convenience stores and a restaurant. Within walking distance of its neighbour suburb, Kings Meadows, Norwood is situated close to the local shopping centre but has that nice suburban feel.

"Warragul Street - So close to the Golf Course."

This tree lined street runs along beside the Launceston Golf course. Smaller homes along this street in a medium price range make this area very affordable. Negara St runs parallell to Norwood avenue and the primary school and is a short walk to Kings Meadows which is the local shopping precinct.

On the main bus route and around the corner to Norwood Primary School. The corner shop is just 1 block away.
