Point Cook has plenty of excellent daycare centres. Goodstart, Kids Resort (Sanctuary Lakes), Kids on the Rise and the newly opened Platypus Junction all have extremely positive reviews. They have long waiting lists though, especially for babies. As far as schools are concerned Point Cook College and Alamanda College have the best reputation but are strictly zoned. Both schools are very different so it's worth visiting to see what suits your family. Point Cook also has a couple of really good Catholic schools (Stella Maris and Emmanuel College) but they are very popular and I have heard nearly impossible to get in unless you are Catholic
