Local information on the Queenstown Tas community and local help available (tradespeople)
Queenstown, TAS 7467 is located within the West Coast local government area, part of the Mersey-Lyell Region in Tasmania.
There doesn't seem to be any activity on here for a few years, is this still operational? I am seriously considering moving there and buying a house to either renovate .. would need professional help.. or one that is ready to live in. Questions.. is there a Presbyterian church there, or a basically growing church, biblically based, good preaching. Are there qualified trades people who can help me renovate, I am in my 60s so can't really do it myself and a comment below made me wonder! Is there a quilt shop either in Queenstown or near, or a craft group I could join? I would come knowing no one so would need to join a community group to meet people. Thanks!

Queenstown Tasmania is a seemingly down on the down turn. What few tradies that live in town are very expensive and their workmanship is poor.
If you hire out from another major city, the costs are just as expensive due to Queenstown Tasmania being in the middle of no where.
