Reviews of Bibra Lake, WA
"Awesome location for the past 18 years!!! Totally at peace and love living here!"
We have been totally in love with this suburb from our decision to settle here back in 2002.
Clamp Court a very quiet cul de sac. True to our real estate salesman's view who sold us the property, the 'sac' has been such a friendly little community. Though the neighbors have changed, the neighbor's values have remained the same. We all look our for each other. Just lovely area is our Clamp Court..... oh yes, our across the street neighbors are now our in laws !:)

"Country feeling 17 minutes from the city, 10 minutes to the beach"
I moved into my husband's home he already bought years before. I was reticent being from North of the River myself I had no idea where I was. I've gotten to know the area over the past 4 years and I couldn't be happier. It's such a laid back country vibe - I've gotten to know so many neighbours and local personalities at the shops and Cafe and around the community.
It's a great place to raise kids. I love Coogee beach being nearby but also easy to commute to the city for work.

"too many power-lines and crime"
The huge powerlines make this place hard to live and not good for health

"Difficult to find a nice looking place away from powerlines"
The lake itself is beautiful and the local playground is massive. There are always families here, riders, joggers. There's a great community here and an active social committee. My only complaint was we couldn't find a house we liked within our price range. The places for sale faced massive powerlines and generators. If you get a good street you're golden. Not too far from South St and fway entrance.

"Bibra Lake - The Place To Be"
Recently moved to Bibra Lake after much research on it and other suburbs. Its a great peaceful, safe and happy suburb. Great lake to walk around for fitness, awesome neighbours, nature on your doorstep with plenty of tree coverage to keep the place nice and cool (unlike newer suburbs). Nice big blocks with proposed rezoning make the area a great investment for the future. Close to great primary schools, Leeming SHS, SJOG Hospital and Fiona Stanley. Can get bus to train station within 10mins and catch train into city easily. Theres evrn a bus to Fremantle.

Totally agree. If I had a million I would stay in Bibra Lake!
I agree! Industrial area is in a totally separate part of Bibra! Google satellite it and you will see the division between the residential & industrial. We have been here 17 years & aren't looking at leaving any time soon :)
We are moving to bibra lake soon and would like to know about primary schools? Which you think are good:)
Sandyn1 how did you find the primary schools?

"The feel of a friendly country town - just 15 minutes from the city"
The people are lovely in Bibra Lake. There's a friendly atmosphere everywhere you go. In the late afternoons there are always people at the park with their dogs and children, everyone chatting to each other and making new friends. The lakes are also popular spots and so beautiful - very recharging. The wildlife is incredible - seeing eagles, owls, blue-tongued lizards and quendas about the place is not uncommon. It's a lovely little neighbourhood - in the evenings the delicious smells of homecooked meals fill the air, kids still play on the street and people always smile and say hello to you on their evening walks. It's like going back in time. I've never lived anywhere else that has such an inviting, community feel.

We live in the 'old' part of Bibra Lake and love it. Spent today bicycling around the lake twice and commented to my hubby how great it was that so many people are out and about on even today's rainy day. Polite, lovely neighbours, kids are well cared for and polite and smiley on our street and in the lake pathways. If we had a million dollars... would stay put here!
We agree... love the 'old' part of Bibra Lake. Superb!
Thanks for the lovely information about Bibra lake, is any good public or private school here or close by that parents sent their children to primary/high?
There is Bibra Lake primary school and Bluegum Montessori (this is one of the best scoring schools in the state)
Many parents send their kids to Kennedy Baptist or also to Corpus Christi
The residential area is so far from the factory area that they are like 2 completely different suburbs. This is the perfect place to live and I wouldn't move if I had a choice of anywhere in Perth.
