Reviews of Clyde North, VIC
"Traffic"
You get what you pay for. One of the cheapest suburbs in Melbourne and once living here you will know why. Worse traffic in victoria. Clyde road makes Hoddle street look like a express lane. Don't be surprised with a 2 hour trip to get home from the cbd, oh and forget public transport there isn't any. Slapped together houses built on swamplands. Forget making calls as there's 0 reception, which is not only frustrating but also dangerous due to High crime rates.

Hi there can you tell me if there are ongoing House invasions or break in as I have seen that someone mentioned?
"A bustling town with a very community feel"
Clyde North is an excellent suburb with shopping centres nearby, and schools around the corner, a few are st peters college, st francis xavier college, graylings primary, hillcrest college and much more! The liveability is very good and there are also playgrounds galore with a reserve pretty much everywhere. Its great for first homebuyers and young families. Estates I'd recommend are Berwick Waters,(Best estate in Clyde North, but is a bit pricey), Circa Estate, Bloom Estate, Meridian Estate, or the Aspen Estate. Although the Meridian and Bloom Estate, do have a problem with hoons and bad drivers,(which I hope gets fixed soon.) those estates are the best one for the value with lots selling for around 300k, and a shopping centre next to it which equips aldi, bunnings,a gym, and a pet stock, I'd highly recommend it, it also has different shops in it's 'industrial site'. However Circa estate is the best value if you want to be really close to your local school.

"Family Friendly"
Have been living here for a while and really loving the suburb. It’s developing but has all we need like shops, parks and some really good grammar and catholic schools around which is will help it grow faster. 30 mins drive to Frankston and easy connection to east gippsland highway and other holidays spots is a plus point.

"10/10 Family Friendly"
Lived here for almost 2 years and it's truly developing into such a family friendly community. Neighbours all look after eachother, the suburb is looking very trendy and as new shops are opening, more parks and schools are coming along, it's truly going to be a hotspot in the South East! We've got all the necessary amenities within a 10min drive, definitely very lucky!!

"A suburb that is constantly growing and developing"
There's a lot to love about the lifestyle here, close to shops, parks and public transport. Alot of new home builds in this suburb, new shopping complexes and schools constantly being built. Brilliant!

"Been living here since Clyde North underwent its development"
I’ve been living in Clyde for a good amount of time and throughout the years it just gets better and better. I did some research on the upcoming estates and seeing the amounts of town centres and areas for community interaction whilst maintaining a fair amount of green and wetland scenery, and it just amazes me. Since it is a pretty new area, the roads are still undergoing development but CN’s future is looking bright and exciting, can’t wait!

I am sure in time you will hate it like you have hated every single western suburb.
"Rapidly developing suburb - hoping to get my second house here"
Friendly community with lot of potential. 2 train stations , lot of public and private school on the construction plans . It’s good for new families who want their foot on the housing market .
Lots of green / wetlands / shopping /hospitals ; only drawback is some roads are under construction but for good .

"A tight and friendly community"
I live in Delaray Estate and the surrounding neighbourhoods are very friendly, helpful and care for each other. Although some petty crimes in the area, am proud to live here because my neighbours and I are always on the lookout for each other. The clubhouse is amazing and the newly completed wetland is just so beautiful. There are good schools and supermarkets nearby but I am hoping for a better traffic situation on the main Clyde road soon.

"Developing Area!"
Very fast growing and developing rapidly! Has a lot to offer for both home buyers and investors/renters.
Lots of parks and shopping centres close by.

"Bad traffic, inconvenient"
No nearby public transport, the nearest train station is around 8-10 km away. Worst around the Thompson Road, as traffic is bad during weekday.
No supermarket within 5-10 km depends on where you stay. The road is badly maintain.
Not recommend for family with children and people who need to travel for work
"Best suburb ever" is a far cry from what it actually is... Very far out from practically anything creeping towards Officer & Pakenham. I'd buy an investment their no chance will i live that far from civilization. Plenty new developments going on in inner suburbs, smaller properties yet "location, location, location". Would take decades for this area to be on the map.
"Feeling uneasy after attempted house break-in"
I want to live in Clyde North. The suburb is ideally located to many of Melbourne's shops, attractions and hospital. There are lots of good schools in the area. And traffic is not as bad. Unfortunately, I have experienced two crime incidents. The first was an Appliance was stolen while my home was nearing completion. And second was a near break-in attempt into my home via back entry. This broke my confidence in living in this suburb.

In which estate do you live in. What about considering buying house in Aspen Estate. Is it good enough or need to take an aspirin if we stay there :-D
"Great central and well serviced suburb"

"A family friendly neighbourhood"
This is a great suburb that allows proper suburban living. It is well positioned for a young family with primary schools and high schools on offer as well as lots of park and recreation spaces. With the new estates they bring lots of small to medium shopping centers as well as restaurants and cafes which is very convenient.

"Fantastic location"
Clyde north is a up coming suburb which is located just below Berwick. Berwick is called the Toorak of the west so clyde north shares a part of that title and share the amenities of berwick.
Schools, hospitals, Parks, Transport and even shopping centers are just hands reach.
Plenty of hwy options Monash fwy. south gippsland hwy, east link
There is so much greenery comparing to the north and west, loving it.

It's a rough suburb 50km from city centre , with the highest crime rates in victoria for the past 3 years, peak hour traffic is the worst & above all surrounded by some of the roughest suburbs in outer south east. No train station & secondary colleges around.
Toorak of the west? Just shows how much you know Melbourne, Berwick is east. It also shares its borders with some of Melbourne roughest poorest suburbs not only berwick
