Seemed to always be about ‘who’s who’ in Coolum, with everyone interested in your business. In our experience it’s stand still traffic most of the time and the properties were overpriced and mostly tenanted. Friends of ours moved here and had moved to buderim with 1 year.

I love living in Coolum Beach. I first moved here eleven years ago and have also enjoyed residing at neighbouring addresses in Yaroomba and Marcoola. My family and I are proud property owners in the central area of Coolum Beach, only moments drive or a leisurely stroll to the ocean. I feel that since moving to this paradise, and now firmly entrenched into the community, this is my home.
I have always lived in Queensland, and there really is no place like this and the adjoining neighbourhood suburbs also North of the Maroochy River. There is such an amazing beauty to this town with it's fantastic scenery, and a village feel environment where strangers soon become friends.
Year in year out there are new and frequent guests visiting this Sunshine Coast beach town, and embracing all of the best qualities that is on offer. I can't think of anywhere else where I'd rather be other than here. The smile on my face when I tell you this in person, will possibly make you consider enjoying life here as well.

Our Family moved to Coolum Beach back in 1995 and have seen allot of changes over those years and mostly for the better, we have one of the best beaches and waves on the Sunshine Coast, plus the boardwalk which takes you up to Pt Perry and the 3 Bays of sandy beaches and rocky coves. The community is very friendly with abundance of volunteer organizations of all types, we have great sporting facilities. we pretty well have everything not to leave the area. The Sunshine Coast Airport is 15 minutes down the road and flys direct to most of the major Cities, the main central business district in Maroochydore is 25 minute drive as is Noosa which is a 20 minute drive, Brisbane is a 1 hour 15 minute drive away. Lets not forget our Hinterland Towns as they are all within a short driving distance. So please come and check out our lovely Coolum Beach and stay for a while as it is the perfect Holiday Destination with all types of accommodation

Coolum is a superb tourist escape from the hustle bustle of major cities and a refreshing alternative to the glitzy overpopulated Gold Coast located at northern reach of the Sunshine Coast. From our natural environment to our shopping experiences the Coolum area offers a diverse array of amenities to suit everyone.

Our pristine beaches, numerous walking trails and parklands and community sporting clubs provide an abundance of fun outdoor activities. The water is warm all year round, and there are always patrolled beaches for your safety. At the beach lifeguards patrol the beach year-round. During the summer months, the Coolum Beach Surf Club also provide voluntary lifesavers for your safety.

A little secret is Stumers Creek is located at the north end of Coolum Beach and is usually a calm creek area for wading. The" tea" colour is indicative of the tannins from the local trees and is brackish as fresh rain water meets the ocean. We will often times see families and pets playing at Stumers Creek as it is a popular place for locals. Dogs are allowed off-leash on this beach north of the Coolum caravan park to south of Peregian Beach.

There are several quaint and charming coastal communities hug the Pacific Ocean, and many names of our towns having historical and aboriginal origins- Mudjimba, Marcoola, Mount Coolum, Yaroomba, Point Arkwright, Coolum Beach and Peregian Beach. The area is also home to the master-planned residential communities of Peregian Springs and Twin Waters and the smaller beachside communities of The Boardwalk, Town of Seaside and Mount Coolum Shores.

Several special events are scheduled throughout the year from fun festivals and markets to local contests and major sports competitions providing entertainment for the whole family.

For your food fix and fashion experience check out a number of shopping precincts offering cafes, take aways, restaurants and numerous home wares and clothing shops. 1. Climb Emu Mountain- Head to the end of Tritonia Drive (near the pony club) and take the walk through the park and up the mountain, You can also access from the front entrance of Coolum High School.

2. Coolum Bays- If you head south on the track up over the hill past point perry, you will come to the BAY WALK which is near "The Point Villas" The track winds through the coastal vegetation and has lots of viewing platforms. You will see turtles and sea birds on the way as the track ends at Point Arkwright! For the brave head down one of the many tracks to explore Second and Third Bay Below.

3. Stummers Creek- Head north out of town and before you cross the creek take the turn right into Stummers Creek. There are three parking areas with direct access to the beach. If you go to the end you will hit the main car park. It is a dog friendly beach. If you have kids it is perfect for when the creek is running.

4. Yandina Creek- Take the Coolum-Yandina Road to the west and head to Musgrave Drive. It is a street with million dollar homes, located on the ridge. You are able to get a stunning 360 degree views of the Ocean and Hinterland.

Coolum Beach is the most fanastic place to live, with its beaches, the coves and the best board walk veiws in Australia.
