Everton Park, QLD 4053

Leafy green, family friendly suburb just a short drive to the city. Spoilt for choice with so many shopping and dining options nearby!

Fantastic family suburb

I love Everton Park, just 10km from the CBD this suburb has increasingly shown growth in local development with new retail precincts being developed continiously. With beautiful parks and walk ways, this suburb is a gem. The highly sought after Northside Christian College, Everton Park State primary and high school all have excellent reputations. With the closest train station 3km away, commute into the city is a breeze.

I have lived in EP for 5 yrs and love what it has to offer for my young family.
Plenty of parks, shops, restaurants and cafes in the area, and love the Kedron Brook for walking/recreation.

Great area Especially near Harvey Norman great new townhouses getting really pricey though however it is the best part of Everton park
The “COVID tax” lol has basically added 100k on the normal 3 bedroom townhouse price so it says price over 500k it’ll sell close to or over 600k
The area is 7km to Brisbane city
Restaurants at the neighbourhood market are great and growing. Great schools close to public transport also the airport.
Traffic gets crazy however that’s what happens when you live this far from the city.

We lived in Everton Park on Mountridge St for 4yrs and have just moved. Overall we were happy there and have only left as we purchased a property elsewhere.

Pros
Convenient to supermarkets, laneway restaurants, drs, Optometrist, pharmacy, schools etc

A short drive to decent playgrounds and not far from Raven St Reserve (Chermside West) for a bush walk.

Safe, although we always kept things locked up.

Quiet neighbours & generally quiet at night but there has definitely been an increase in traffic & associated noise with the new road development. Strathpine road is busy with trucks, cars and ambulances so you often here that 24/7. Depending on what street you are in you may be sandwiched between major roads.

Cons
Limited footpaths depending on what street you are living on.

Noise & people speeding

We heard the occasional argument coming from Page St.

Rental & property prices have gone a bit over the top. The suburb is nice but not that nice!

Public transport isn't good. Buses only.

Some air pollution from backyard bomb fires depending on where you live. This can blow straight into your house.

The occasional roaming dog.

I have recently moved into Everton Park three months ago and couldn't be happier. Lots of brick homes going through renovation phases, especially Trouts estate area. The new laneway nearing completion will be fantastic, as well as the retail tenancies opening up in the old masters. Everton Park has so much to offer and I'm so glad I chose to move here.
Perfect for young families.

I moved from Sydney to Everton Park and I love it. The green parks, shops and people are second to none. I'm so glad we built our new home here. Three new proposed developments will only add to the property prices and make it a vibrant hub!! This will become the 'it' suburb of Brisbane make no mistake about it,

I wouldn't live anywhere else. I think its the perfect spot in Brisbane. Only 8kms to the city, close to a couple of shopping centres, parks and walking tracks

I've lived in Everton Park for a few years now. Started out renting as a single young professional now an owner occupier in this great suburb with my husband and kids. Short and easy commute to the CBD. Family friendly area with lots of parks, walking/ cycling tracks, safe and convenient.
