"Hinchliffe Drive - Nice street, close to schools and shops"
Hinchliffe Drive is a nice, quiet street. Just off Hume St (south of Spring St) it is close to The Ridge shopping Centre and all the food and shops there. There are two schools within easy walking distance (1 Private: COCT, 1 Public: Middle Ridge SS) and parks with playgrounds also close by. There is little traffic on the street and has easy access onto Nelson St, Ruthven St and Hume St (via some quiet side roads). The neighbourhood is friendly and inviting, with people willing to help out and the occasional Australia Day party or Christmas party are a great way to meet the neighbours. While it is quiet, you don't really hear that much from the nearby houses, which is a plus.
I'd have no hesitation recommending this to any couple or family, and even singles (though most of the properties appear to be 3+ Brms).
