Surfing Mums
I recently heard about this on the radio. Such a great concept. It was started by a mum that was struggling to get back into the surf after having children. The group takes turns in looking after children on the beach so everyone gets an opportunity to surf. It has a really lovely community feel to the group so if you are a surf lover you should definitely check it out. See the website for your nearest location.

Single with Children is another group that would be worth investigating.
Fun, exciting social activities, events and meetups for single parents and their children including many subsidised or free.
