Wondering what to do this Australia Day in Sydney?

I've noted down some of the activities that is happening around the city this holiday. If anyone knows of anything else going on, let me know. As I would like to go!

Salute to Australia
at 12pm at the harbour front. Take part in the salute and join in with your best rendition of the national anthem. followed by a 21 gun salute and a RAAF fly over. Very patriotic.

Tug & Yacht
Ten yachts tether themselves to two tug boats. They then go on to perform a choreographed maritime dance to the sounds of Leo Delibes.

Barangaroo Reserve
Pack some food and head down to the reserve. Get great views of the finish of the Ferrython and Tall Ships. Catch glimpses of the Cruising Concert barge that comes past the reserve. Enjoy the day then watch the incredible sunset from Nawi Cove.

Last Australia Day I had a great time at Festival Village in Hyde Park. The festival is on again this year featuring amazing circus performances, live bands and DJ sets and there's lots of yummy food and drinks on offer from Gelato Messina, Bar Pho and Harvest Trader & Co http://www.sydneyfestival.org.au/2016/meriton-festival-village?gclid=CPq_tqiht8oCFYKWvAodmXUMOQ
