"Beautiful and manicured"
Best suburb in the west in terms of how it looks. Beautiful large houses with manicured gardens and a lot of house pride. This reflects the higher house prices in Taylors Hill; a symbol of how all people should aspire to. Amenities are close by including watergardens train station.

"Everything you need, but still issues"
Caroline Springs is probably the nicest western suburb with amenities and everything you need within the suburb. It’s a large suburb with different pockets. Overall it’s a nice area but there is a large increase in youth crime and dumped rubbish / litter which is a real shame. New immigrants from certain countries are bringing their habits such as not maintaining their nature strips, picking up litter on their property, or they just dump litter. However, Melton council are responsive as Caroline Springs is their showcase suburb. It’s also nice that many people still have pride here.
"Litter filled suburb"
Litter and dumped rubbish everywhere. This is due to the demographics of the area. People here are selfish and come from countries that do the same, so why would they treat the area they now reside any better ? Most original residents now gone. Don’t listen to anyone promoting it unless you love living around litter and rev heads
"Disgusting suburb"
It’s hilarious that people are promoting this dump of a suburb. There is rubbish everywhere, overgrown grass, dumped trolleys and houses falling apart. The area looks disheveled and down right ugly. The suburb is riddled with crime and full of people who lack respect for their surroundings. This place will never get better unfortunately.
"Absolute dump"
Sorry to paint everyone with the same brush, but the people who live here lol respect for their surroundings. I’ve been two third world countries that are cleaner than Dallas. There is rubbish dumped everywhere, houses disheveled and unkept, dumped trolleys and overgrown grass. This is a disgusting suburb, just like it’s ugly neighbour, Broadmeadows.
"Derelict"
The only positive about this suburb is the park and proximity to the CBD. The area is disheveled and derelict, full of graffiti with people on drugs and alcohol. I feel like everyone uses multiculturalism as a way out for these areas that are clearly in need of a good clean up.
"My favourite"
I loved and absolutely miss living in Maribyrnong. It was a secret gem central to everything. There is a great mix of old and young people and the vibe is awesome. It is a peaceful inner city suburb and the diamond of Melbournes west. The only issue is traffic can be bad at times around highpoint.
"Improving but still a long way to go"
I live in Sunshine and have seen improvements. Unfortunately there is a still a long way to go. Most residents do not care about the neighbourhood; it is full of litter, rubbish and overgrown grass . Most houses are run down and need freshening up. There is a lot of commission housing with doesn’t help the appeal. I’m happy to see lots of houses be bulldozed and rebuilt and hopefully more caring residents can move in to really give the area the complete makeover it truly deserves.
Home Co, whilst it looks nice, is an absolute dumping of rubbish all around the car park and nature strips. There are trolleys EVERYWHERE as well. The lack of respect that this community has for it's surroundings is extremely apparent. The only way Sunshine will improve is when:
Come shop in the Home Co shopping centre and surrounding area precinct, this is the new home of the Sunshine retail business precinct. You can even bring your kids and they will be safe. Forget Hampshire road, thats just a street that's been wrecked by the Brimbank council and the state government. Maribyrnong council look after Sunshine residents better than Brimbank.
