"Warnbro - Affordable Family-Friendly Living!"

I lived in Warnbro for over 30 years both as a tenant and home owner & had 2 daughters who went to school in the area. Beautiful beaches, many public & private primary and secondary schools, great sporting facilities & fabulous food and shopping make it an all-round great place to live. Very affordable housing too, compared to prices further north, but without the hustle & bustle.

"Wonderful Warnbro"

With the train station, excellent shopping centres, schools, hospital and medical services as well as pristine beaches near by- what not to like about Warnbro?? Family friendly and relatively affordable compared to surrounding suburbs, it's definitely a great place to live

"Living in Warnbro"

I had the worst experience possible when I built my first home in Warnbro. I built in the estate of Green Meadows just off Ennis Avenue and Royal Palm Drive, and was happy with my home. What was horrible were the neighbours, 5 of whom loved loud 'doof doof' rock music and played it at levels so high that the street vibrated. When one would stop another would start; 24/7. This became intolerable and within 6 months of moving into our new home, I sold it, never to return to the Wild West.

I have friends who live on the other side of Warnbro Sound Avenue near the beach and that part of Warnbro is lovely. I would recommend that if you are thinking of moving to Warnbro, check out the neighbours and their lifestyle first to see if you will be a good match. Living with loud rock music that never ends is not my idea of an enjoyable life. It is better to buy an older, established home in a more peaceful area than to put up with a nightmare with anti-social neighbours who are more interested in creating noise and having very loud street parties on a regular basis.

Just before we moved, the TRG cordoned off all the streets near our home to catch some criminals and a woman was murdered just streets from our home. I have never returned to the area and hope that no-one else has to endure the nightmare of the Wild West that is this part of Warnbro.

"Warnbro WA - Great family location"

Warnbro is a fantastic suburb for families, my kids went to Warnbro Primary and Warnbro High. Both brilliant schools but if you prefer private schools there are hreat private schools as well. The shopping center has recently been upgraded and now hosts a huge BIg W and lots of secialty stores as well as Coles and Woolworths. The Aqua jetty offers a great gym and pool. My daughter was in the stingrays swimming club which runs from the aqua jetty. the Warnbro community high school has a fantastic dance and swimming program. The Warnbro beaches ar fabulous quiet and easy to access, away from the hussle and bussle of the busy beaches. if you want to know more or are thinking about moving to Warnbro feel free to contact me Martina Berry Director Professionals Rockingham [email protected] or 0432367281 happy to help any time

"Great place to live!"

We’ve been living in Warnbro for years and I can honestly say its been a great living here.
Warnbro is close to a good shopping complex with lots of takeaway choices and all you need inside the shops (two major supermarkets and big W). There are so many well kept parks with local sports going on around the suburb.
It’s a max 5 minute drive to the Warnbros lovely and secluded beach (and we live by the Warnbro shops). It’s only a 12 minutes drive from Rockingham shops and the foreshore, and 10 minutes from Baldivis, which all have loads of places to eat out at.

The public transport in Warnbro is great. We have bus stops right by our house which come frequently and takes approx 5-10 minutes to get to the train station. The trains come often too - every 15 or so. Being a younger couple living here this has been very handy.

Would 100% recommend Warnbro.

"Lovely, and cheap established housing"

If you don't have to consider a good primary school for your child/ren, then Warnbro would be great. If you go beach side of Read then you will be even better off. In my opinion, the crime rate seems to be a little higher either side of Waikiki, but most of Warnbro is actually not too bad. My father picked Waikiki (Harrington Waters Estate), as is a great neighbourhood and Waikiki Primary School is the best in the area. I would expect the results of the students to get better and better each year, particularly in 3 years when my daughter starts going.

"Welcoming and family friendly"

Having moved to Warnbro around 4 mths ago, we have been pleasently surprised at the friendliness of the locals, the great facilities and amazing beaches.
Having 2 young children, I have found it so easy to meet people, arrange playdates and make friends, it's a very social area. I love the fact that my children can grow up in an area where being outside and living is the norm, I constantly see people at the parks, beach and just generally out exercising.

The area of Rockingham is often labelled as being full of bogans or less than desirable people, from what I can tell, it doesn't have any problems greater than any other suburb of Perth, I think before the Kwinana opened and prior to all the new developments opening and appealing to families and professionals, there may have been reason for the Shire of Rockingham to have that reputation, but so much has changed and this area will continue to attract the 'right' kind of people.

Being so close to a beautiful stretch of ocean and with more developments in the pipeline, I'm glad we brought now, as I think this area will be out reach financially for most middle income families within the next 5-10 years.

"A very diverse suburb"

There are many sides to Warnbro, but mostly positive and you can't go past the pristine beaches in this area which are great for families with kids. Warnbro gives you easy access to the freeway, or to the train station ( a quick 35 mins to perth ), as well as good shopping facilities at Warnbro, Port Kennedy, or the recently enlarged Rockingham City.

I have lived in Warnbro for the past 18 years and have loved every minute. I have moved 4 times each time closer to the wonderfull beach at warnbro, the kids love spending summer swimming in the calm sea. We have a wonderfull aquatic center, a nice shopping centre and good sporting complex near by with beach volleyball, indoor cricket, indoor netball and the lark hill sporting complex less than 5 minutes away. The train station is close by and within 35 minutes you are in perth. My son travels to uni everyday by train and it is quicker and cheaper than by car. The last drop is a geat family pub/ restaurant with great food at affordable prices. my kids go to living waters school which is brilliant, my eldest now attends uni after graduating with honours. I could not imagine living else where, i have lived in the hills and north of the river but love it more down here. Do yourself a favour and if you have the chance to move to the rockingham area do so you will not regret it.

"An Aquatic Paradise"

I have lived in and around Warnbro since 1973 and i have had the pleasure of watching it grow into one of the most desirable locations the world has to offer. Warnbro affords the best of both worlds with modern infrastructure and services combined with some of the most magnificent aquatic and marine based natural experiences found along the Western Australian coastline.

If you're like me "a fish out of water" you will love the opportunity of being able to dive off one of the many neighbouring islands, sail a yacht within the protected bays, cast a rod from a boat or off the beach and enjoy the vast stretches of white sandy beaches.

With Warnbro being located only a 30 minute train ride to Perth and within easy reach of Kwinana's world renowed industrial strip finding work is never a problem.

Warnbro offers secure property values with an average 11% return over the last 10 years. So whether you are looking to buy your first home, architecturally designed beachfront paradise or anything in between you will find what you want in Warnbro.

I found my piece of paradise.

"Holiday All Year Round"

I have lived in Warnbro and the surrounding area most of my life. I have also travelled all around the world experiencing wonderful, and sometimes not so wonderful locations! Still I always marvel at how fortunate I am to live in the beautiful Warnbro dunes. Its rugged beauty never ceases to amaze me, the peacefulness, the wonderful birdlife and the fact that I can be the only person on the beach for miles, I'll never take for granted. You never have to worry about finding a carpark, or where I can sit or lie down on this amazing strech of clean, unspoilt coastline. We are so close to some of Perths top tourist attractions, Penguin Island, Point Peron and Swimming with the Dolphins. Fishing, surfing, diving and watersports are very popular activities here. The aqua jetty is an amazing recreational centre that is widely utilised. We are only a short 30 minute train ride from the Perth CBD. We have one of Perth's largest shopping centres nearby that is open all weekend during school and public holidays,it has cinemas and great cafes, everything you need under one roof. I think we have on offer an idyllic lifestyle here that suits families, singles, Proffesionals and the beach loving person who likes to feel they are on holidays all year round.

"Hoons Boguns and a beautiful Beach"

I lived with my Family in Warnbro for 12 Months.
I have never regretted leaving. Dont be suprised to see twits doing burnouts in your Street as Warnbros hoon culture is ever present. Pacific Fair shopping centre is dreary(a match for the suburb) place.

The local schools are amongst the worst performed in Australia.....If you dont believe me have a look at the Govt education website.

P.S I still own a Home in Old Warnbro and values wont improve untill the cheap housing fades away and with it go the unemployed and the underemployed. Check back on Warnbro in about 20 years....might move back there myself then. Meanwhile it can be righty proud of its well earned ranking of 113th best suburb in Perth.

"A great place to live for anyone"

I have lived in Warnbro for the past 16 years and it is a great place to live. The beach is equal to any and usually under-utilised. The Aqua Jetty is a great gym with all new equipment and the heated pools mean that you can swim all year. There are some great restaurants and a cafe strip nearby in Rockingham where you can get a range of food from different cultures. Also the extension to the shopping centre at Rockingham City means that the shopping here, which is open 7 days per week during school holidays, is fantastic.

My only problems in living at Warnbro is that it is a bit of a trek into the city to work each day however the train has certainly eased this. Also the area has predominantly only one ethnic group and I would like it to be more multi-cultural.
