Reviews of Alice St, Newtown
"Ideal for young professionals"
Have found it relatively safe, close to the parks, convenient but still quiet and less of the King St buzz. Alice st can be a little busy at rush hour but it's not too bad at all, only two lanes, and much better than living near a main rd like Parramatta Rd or Euston Rd in Alexandria (have lived there). Even better if you live set back from the street.

"The Ghetto of Newtown"
I spent a large part of my life here, one of the cheapest streets in Newtown, with noisy Commission Housing scattered on both ends. Living in one of the apartments, I watched on many fights, theft and loud house raids at all hours of the day in horror from my window. Maybe pick another street around here.
