Campbell Street, Toowoomba City, QLD 4350

I've lived here for nearly 3 1/2 years with my wife and 6 year old daughter and have loved every moment. It's close to everything be it shopping centers, cafe's, pubs, parks and schools. The car stays in the garage most of the time and we walk everywhere. We were a little unsure buying there as we were new to town and had heard it was a dodgy area but we have had no problems. Our neighbours are great and 'Mort estate' has a great feel about it. Definitely glad we made the decision to live here as apposed to a newer Estate.

I lived in Campbell St for 5 years in the early naughties, it was the first house my husband and I bought together. We absolutely loved living here, the tree lined streets, walking down to breakfast at the nearby cafes, walking out to dinner or home from a big night. Maybe not for everybody, you definitely have to accept the local characters as part of the area's charm. The inner city location means you might cross the odd homeless person scouring the streets for treasure, or a group of teenagers showing off and the occasional police car cruising by but it was the sort of neighborhood where all the locals watched out for each other. The area also features a number of homes of historical significance and its great to see them being restored. It is a great base if you are are frequent exerciser. Jog easily down to Queen's Park, or set out up Bridge St for a lovely long run around Prince Henry at the top of the range. If you have an open mind and want a bit more excitement than living in the 'burbs I'd highly recommend Campbell St Toowoomba City.
